LISA BROOKS

A mother of 4 grown sons and an adopted special needs son , Lisa has worked in a variety of careers always involving the needs of people. Having worked in London at local radio stations as a radio announcer for years and then moving into the helping field working with Autistic adults. Since that time she had worked as a General Manager in the field of health and safety before taking on her special needs son and making the decision to stay home and attend to his development.

Living a healthy lifestyle, she has learned the importance of a plant-based diet and researched the effects of how this can improve and alleviate many ailments and reverse the affects of disease in many cases.

The idea of working with seniors has come from the research she has done and discovering that an old system needs reviving with a fresh and creative approach. With all the new research that is now available about health and nutrition and the importance of the stimuli needed for the brain she believes she can make a difference. A caring, nurturing and compassionate person with a great work ethic and moral position, she is tired of seeing an outdated system which allows for our wonderful elders to waste away with very few updated programs in place. 

Her plan is to provide something very unique and celebrate our wonderful aged citizens by offering them motivated and healthy lifestyle choices and assist them to stay in their home.

Lisa is Certified to work with Alzheimer and dementia patients through the Alzheimer Society of Toronto and is trained in QiGong for well being and Lives a plant based lifestyle. She is CPR and First Aid Certified through the Red Cross of London She is also insured and bonded and has had a police check for vulnerable persons satisfied.
